OSH COORDINATOR (OSHC)

About Course

KLIA Training and Research Centre Sdn Bhd is  providing the OSH Coordinator training in Collaboration with BOST Training and Consultancy as a certified training provided bt Department of Safety and Health (DOSH).

Course Objective

The objective of this preparation course is become Competent Person for OSH Coordinator that fulfil Section 29 of the Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 2022 (Malaysia) for workplaces with 5 – 39 employees.

Course modules usually cover:

  1.  Introduction to OSHA 1994 & Amendments
  2. Roles and Responsibilities of an OSH Coordinator
  3. Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC)
  4. Workplace Inspections & Incident Reporting
  5. Safety and Health Committee basics
  6. Record keeping & communication with DOSH

Certification

Once training is completed:

  1. Submit your training certificate to DOSH

Competency Course

KLIA Training & Research Centre Sdn Bhd as a approved training provider for the Scaffolding Basic Competency Course (Level 1) recognized by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (JKKP) Malaysia.

Enhancing comprehension of both theoretical and hands-on aspects of scaffolding fundamentals and essential skills, encompassing safety prerequisites.

  • Can read and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • SPM/Certificate/Diploma/Degree
  • Have a good physical and mental health
